Notes


  • The smith’s name Ryokai comes from his buddhist name.
  • Ryokai’s swords were well known for its sharpness so much, his swords are on great demand among Samurai and swordsmen. The legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi(宮本武蔵) was also a big fan of his works and cherished his sword for life.
