What is Konuka-Hada(小糠肌)?

  • Konuka-Hada refers to the Hada(肌) pattern which looks like rice bran. It’s very similar to NASHIJI-HADA(梨子地肌), but with less NIE(沸) and the Hada looks more whitish.
  • This Hada is found on swords from Hizen province of the Kyushu island.
